Wow.
well that was an amazingly fun and exciting {and busy!} holiday!
After Ornamentacular, I tried to focus as much energy as I could on my family. I had a few projects planned, but no computer was basically the rule. {Only allowance: to edit photos in lightroom}
{We all know what can be done with our iphones though!}
My tree came together nicely! I used a mixture of upcycled, vintage, foraged, and handmade things to decorate this year. I’m not really and red n green kinda gal, as you can see…
More like “glittered wilderness” right?
And I really liked these colors :: I find the best
Me: 17 years ago. Found some cool photos
This is what I made my mom :: something I found on Pinterest! Sweet Sewing kit! It’s in the December issue of indie lovely too!
I made each teacher a scarf. They take tiny girl and her friends on nature walks, out for winter gardening, pushes on swings… All winter long. They are the sweetest most amazing women! So grateful to have them. Teachers help us raise our children.
Once I was done with holiday gift making, I made a new camera strap. Needed to make something for myself.
I joined a Secret Santa gift swap on instagram. Thank you so much @sewcanny I love my gift! So perfect for me!!! go to #dawnschristmasswap on instagram to see all the pics from the participants!
Thank you Santa! Happy holidays!
