Starburst Granny Stripe Crochet Blanket

I started a new blankie! This one is for my sis. I just love that girl!
And I love these colors. I’m using Vanna’s Collection. It’s nice blankie yarn. Soft and cozy and vibrantly colored.

I used the starburst flower pattern from Mollie Makes 2nd issue until the 4th row. Then, I altered a join as you go pattern that I found on attic 24 to turn it into a square… and love! I followed that up with a row of granny stitch on each side to make it a little wider. THEN! the fun part. I just picked colors from the suitcase full of yarn, and did two rows of granny stitch for each color.

It’s getting there. I have been taking it everywhere… More pics soon!
