Yay! this weekend is the Michigan Lavender Festival! I rent a big 20×40 ft. tent, and I turn one end of it into a classroom {I teach holistic skincare and lavender embroidery} and I have room for a few of my friends that make cool stuff to set up a little boutique… It’s all weekend: {Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 12-14, 2013 from 10am – 5pm}. The festival is held at Blake’s Orchards, in Armada, Michigan. You can check out the festival’s website for more info and maps.
Here’s what me and my friends are bringing:
Re-zip it |
the holistic esthetician |
MIAKODA |
Ida Belle Soaps |
Frozentree Creations |
Enamor |
Cloud Nine Crochet |
Radiant Dawn will be doing despacho ceremonies. A despacho is a Q’ero (Peruvian tribe predating Incas) traditional blessing and manifestation ceremony. Despachos to be a wonderful way to use positive energy to really get shifts going in the right direction.
Make sure you visit The Michigan Lavender Festival’s website for more info on the festival. There are awesome workshops (like my Herbal Skin Care class & Lavender Embroidery project) and demos to attend, yummy food to eat, lavender to pick… Trust me, you will want to plan your day at the festival to make sure you don’t miss anything!
see ya there!
